I LOVE this post, Brandi. We just got some alarming health news in my household so this couldn’t have come at a better time – the Husband and I REALLY need to revamp our diets and eat healthier. I know that I’ll be referring to this post for all your yummy, nutritious recipes (especially the sweets for me 😉

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve received bad news Nancy! 🙁 I understand though sometimes its necessary to change our ways or introduce new habits. The whole reason we became vegan is because of my husbands deteriorating health from a severe case of gout. I now have learned so much in how to create delicious meals creatively so we don’t feel deprived. In fact, our lives are much better for it and for our baby girl too. Best advice I could say is take baby steps so you don’t feel overwhelmed!! Introduce more veggies/fruits in your diet (fresh) to your meals. Adding in these things will make you feel better and make eating healthier satisfying. I promise I don’t feel deprived at all. You can see I don’t go without yummy sweets LOL! 🙂

What a spread!! To think of the calories and fat consumed during a football game makes me shudder. I love everything and really want to give that chili a try!!

Thanks Suzanne! The chili is a big hit with my followers…I just made a big pot yesterday for a friend and her family and they loved it. I’m making more today 🙂 I need to double the recipe though so it lasts longer.

I think all of these sound 1,000,000 times more appetizing than greasy skin and bone containing wings (yuck!) 😀

Ahhh all these superbowl round ups make me so sad I didn’t really do anything for the superbowl, just watched parts at my boyfriend’s place. But I would still love to make ALL of these. That red pepper dip, mexican hummus, your healthy desserts…I want to make like a buffet of all these recipes. I would be in heaven 🙂
