I’m excited to share that The Vegan 8 is venturing out into meal planning! I’ve partnered with the giant meal planning service, eMeals! eMeals has partnered with famous sites and magazines like Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens Magazine, Eating Well, etc. and when they reached out to me, I was completely honored to say the least! We began a relationship over several weeks and I’m excited to finally share this collection with you all.
WHAT IS eMEALS?
eMeals is America’s largest digital meal planning company having served over 1 million customers, and a comprehensive resource that helps provide healthy and delicious dinners for busy families and individuals. They offer many different plans ranging from lifestyle meal plans including Clean Eating, Paleo, Low Carb, Gluten Free, Quick & Healthy, Vegetarian and Vegan meal plans and more. If you are vegan, then you will want to check out their Vegan Meal Plan.
In addition to my special collection being featured on their app, there is already a vegan meal plan in effect of many of their own recipes, that you would receive weekly.
WHAT DO I GET WITH MY MEAL PLAN?
- First and foremost, you will have immediate access to my full collection featured right within an easy app right upon signing up. Even with the free trial. Then, their basic vegan meal plan goes out weekly and includes seven meals, dynamic shopping lists and recipe instructions that are simple and easy to follow.
- Much less stress about what to plan for dinner. I see more posts on Facebook daily about people simply not knowing what to cook for dinner, above all other posts!
- Within seconds, you can click to add the ingredients to a shopping list and then have the list sent to the nearest grocery store. You can then either pick them up yourself or have them delivered! Talk about easy.
- Much more affordable option than meal delivery kits. This is an online meal plan service, that makes planning easy, with a variety of different diet plans.
- If you don’t like one of the recipes sent in your weekly meal plan, no problem! Simply switch around on the app for other recipes or the previous weekly meal plan. It’s so user-friendly with a ton of options.
ARE THE RECIPES NEW?
There are 22 recipes featured in the Vegan 8 Collection. They loved my concept and the recipes on my website, so I very carefully chose some of my favorite and loved recipes from readers for my collection. Most are ones from the blog, but there are 3 brand new ones and a 4th one, this Pimento Cream Sauce that I recreated to be nut-free, which changed the recipe a bit. Same flavors, but a slightly different recipe. I really wanted to write a few new ones for the collection and oh boy, are they fantastic!
So, yes, can you get most of the recipes right here for free already on my blog. Of course. That is with any meal plan that is offered on multiple blogger sites. This however, is a bit different, as it is a carefully selected collection all right in one place on an app. Being able to click to add all of my ingredients to your shopping list is a really nice feature.
Further, if you want to go that route, have the ingredients delivered to your door. My meal plan, as well as the app, in general, is for people who want to make dinner planning easy, simple and fast. These meal plans are appealing to very busy people, often with kids, who just need 1 less thing to stress over…what’s for dinner?!
These Creamy BBQ Chickpeas and Rice is a new recipe featured in the collection. Absolutely creamy, rich in barbecue flavors and topped with spicy, crunchy fresh jalapenos! This has become one of my favorite new meals.
This Italian Zucchini Pasta Bake is another new recipe featured in the collection. Not even kidding, my hubby says this is easily one of his favorite meals I’ve ever made. It’s crazy simple to make, too. This cheese is a game-changer! I’ve used it on everything from spaghetti to pizza to cheesy toast. It is my favorite cheese recipe and it melts, bakes and firms up and even browns like real cheese! There is also no oil and no added starches like most mozzarella-type vegan cheese recipes out there. NO weird ingredients.
This Italian Lemon Roasted Broccoli is probably the tastiest broccoli I’ve had. It is another new recipe in the collection.
HOW TO USE THE eMEALS APP
To get to my collection, once on the eMeals app on your phone, you will be on the home screen. Scroll down to “View other collections” and click on that. Then, scroll down to the “Best of The Vegan 8” and click on that. Then you will be brought to my collection of 22 recipes.
After perusing the recipes on my collection (or any collection you want to view within the app) of your choice, select which recipes you want to make for dinner. Under each recipe photo within the app, there is an “Add to List” button to add the ingredients to your shopping list. The “shopping list” tab will be at the very bottom of the app from the main screen.
Click on your shopping list, then check any or all of the ingredients that you may need in the corresponding boxes that you want to get from the store. You can either shop yourself from the list or skip the grocery store by sending your shopping list directly to Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, Instacart or Shipt. In that case, you would select “Shop Now” at the bottom orange tab. The app will walk you through each step on how to place the order for your groceries.
TRY IT FOR FREE!
What I love about emeals is that they let you try out their app for free for 2 weeks, it is called their free free 14-day trial. You literally have nothing to lose by trying it out. You can decide after that if you would like to continue with the vegan meal plan or any plan for that matter. You will be charged automatically after the 14 days, but the terms of the service are given at the time of trying out the plan. They also have a wonderful customer service team that can answer any questions you have.
If you choose their 3 month subscription, it is $29.99. If you choose the yearly subscription, it is $59.99. So, as you can see, very affordable!
The great thing is that if you are not vegan (I know all my readers are not vegan) or just want to experiment, by being a subscriber, you can switch plans anytime you want! You are not limited to any certain plan.
So, if this sounds like something you think you’d like to try out to see if it makes your life easier. Give it 14 days to check it out.
