A smoothie that is incredibly high in vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients. This smoothie has the power of Vitamins A, C and K and a good dose of calcium and healthy fats from the chia seeds and sesame seeds. The smoothie reminds me of a fruity jolly rancher, but the benefits of superfood!

Ingredients
1large handful kale57 g
2kiwissliced
1large honey crisp applesliced
1frozen 10 oz bag strawberriesthawed for 15 minutes (283 g which is about 2 cups)
juice from half a lemon
1tablespoonchia seeds12 g
1tablespoonsesame seeds7 g (optional)
1 to 1 1/2cupswateras needed to blend up smoothie
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth. Garnish with sliced kiwi and sesame seeds, if desired. The sesame seeds give a depth of flavor that is a beautiful contrast to all the sweetness of the fruit.
For an added protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder, if desired.
