3 INGREDIENT STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM

3 Ingredient Strawberry Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 16 ounces (1 pound) frozen strawberries, must be frozen
- 2 huge tablespoons raw cashew butter
- 1/2 cup (120g) plant-based milk (I used almond)
- optional for more sweetness: 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- pinch of fine sea salt
Instructions
- You must use frozen strawberries because this is what creates the instant soft serve. Set the frozen strawberries out to thaw for about 20 minutes or pop in to microwave 45 seconds. This allows for easier blending so you don’t need more milk to dilute the flavor.
- .Add all the ingredients to a powerful blender or food processor (I used a food processor) and blend until completely smooth and creamy. You’ll need to scrape down the sides a few times to get it going.You can enjoy it right away as a soft serve texture or place in the freezer to set and firm up for an hour or two.

Hi! Do you think almond butter or tahini would work? I never have cashew butter on hand😅.

Hi Kristy! It technically would work but it will definitely change the flavor. Cashew butter is completely hidden in flavor so you just get strawberry, so it may give a more nutty taste with tahini or almond butter, but it would technically work! Let me know if you try it!
This recipe will make you want to keep a stash of frozen strawberries all the time! Super easy, quick, creamy, and delicious, it has it all! And unlike some commercially made vegan ice creams, it left me feeling great. Btw, I did use the maple syrup and salt this time. I may try without next time just to see…
