CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! My blog is finally ready and revealed! 🙂 It is totally me, my style and my favorite colors…red and orange.
As of October 2013, I have begun a new concept for my blog and I’m THRILLED about it. The Healthy Flavor, for me, has been a wonderful expression of my passion with vegan cooking, baking and sharing some delicious food with all of you. Click on my About page for the full scoop of who I am and how I transitioned that blog to this one.
My readers have been such an integral role in igniting my passion for creating dishes that are healthy, unique and most of all, delicious. Through operating The Healthy Flavor, one thing stood out to me about what appealed to most readers….you want simple, no fuss recipes. I started doing some blog searching and found that my most popular and repeatedly made recipes were 8 ingredients or less (not necessarily including salt or water).
Therefore, that became my new concept and dedication to my readers! In today’s world, most people are going to gravitate towards easy recipes that don’t take forever or require 10-20 ingredients. I personally am attracted to recipes that I see and know will be easy. I took a little poll among people and everybody said what attracted them most to actually make a recipe was that it needed to be simple and not too many ingredients.
Since, I have so many readers that make plenty of my recipes, I have transitioned all of them onto this blog for your convenience. So, not every recipe on this blog is 8 ingredients, but many are. Any NEW recipe will be though, not necessarily including salt or water. Basically we all have salt and water in our homes. All of my new recipes will only require you to technically purchase 8 ingredients, although several of them are so basic you will probably already have those as well. But, basically that is the idea behind the new concept.
Please notice the new recipe index! Also, the 2 new menu bars, Kid-Friendly and Allergies! These are all for your convenience. It has taken me forever to get this done, but it’s so worth it. The Kid-Friendly category/menu will be recipes all free from oil, gluten and nuts! The allergy page will list different categories based on allergies such as somebody who needs a gluten-free recipe or a nut-free recipe, or even wants a no-bake recipe.

Make sure to confirm your subscription in the email you receive and if you don’t receive it, check your spam in case. Let me know if you have any problems with anything on the site.
Please know too, I am still finalizing a couple of details and adding all of my recipes to the recipe index, so they are not all on there yet. However, the site is basically done otherwise and I wanted to get it revealed once and for all.
I have lots of exciting things to come….as in almost 20 new recipes to share with you. Here’s a couple of teasers…..

And the best freaking chocolate cake you’ve ever had, as stated by my family members….there really are no words for this cake…..I’ll leave you with the title, Triple Chocolate Almond Cake. Oh yeah, this is a gluten-free, vegan cake but it is so rich and decadent, you will freak out!!
