It’s soooooo hot outside and my husband loves watermelon and I love strawberries. Keeping that in mind, I decided to make these popsicles with both flavors. They are really sweet and creamy, just what you need to cool off. Believe it or not, my husband actually said he’d prefer more strawberry and less watermelon! It’s so easy, I’ll just change it next time. I added maple syrup for a little earthy sweetness, but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. The fruit may be plenty sweet for you.

Recipe:  Makes 8 popsicles depending on the size of your molds

2 heaping cups fresh cut watermelon

1 1/2 heaping cups fresh strawberries

1/4 cup almond milk (use any plant milk you prefer to make it nut-free)

1 tablespoon maple syrup

Process all the ingredients into a blender and pour into popsicle molds and freeze for several hours. That’s it! You can also pour it into ice cube trays and add to your drink or water for added flavor. I’ve done that too!

Thank you so much! They were. I think I’ll do more strawberry and less watermelon next time to see the difference. Watermelon is SO sweet! Mmm!
