What if I told you that you could eat this fudgy chocolate and that it was loaded with superfoods?

A chocolate that is loaded with superfoods and tastes decadent? Vegan, raw and just 7 ingredients for this superfood chocolate.

Well, here it is. I’m not exaggerating…these are delicious. They are special too…containing the best ingredients. I like to use natural nut butters over oils, because they are a whole food and lend a natural creamy texture and more depth of flavor. These rich, dark mint chocolates contain cashew butter to give them a creamy, fudgy texture. But check out what they also contain:

  • sprouted whole grain brown rice
  • lucuma fruit powder
  • barley grass
  • wheat grass
  • spirulina
  • spinach powder
  • alfafa leaf powder
  • kelp powder
  • dulse powder
  • dandelion leaf powder
  • orange peel powder
  • beetroot powder
  • lemon peel powder
  • gingko leaf powder
  • baobab fruit powder

Now, have you ever had chocolate like that?! All raw, vegan, organic, gluten-free, non-gmo, kosher!

As I mentioned in this previous post, I am in love with Sprout Living’s Epic Protein “Vanilla Lucuma” flavor. It is the only brand I use now. I’ve tried many raw vegan brands, but the quality is unmatched, as well as their ingredients and flavor. Brown rice protein powders can be very gritty and often contain sweeteners like stevia and/or gums or other ingredients I am not a fan of. Once I discovered Epic Protein used none of those and only superfoods, I was sold….literally. Their texture happens to be the smoothest too.

I know what you are probably thinking….how in the world can they taste good with all of that? Well, you don’t taste any of it! My hubby couldn’t taste any of it and he is the worst critic of all and said “these are very good” and my daughter who is 27 months kept asking for “more”! I added enough to get some nutrients in the chocolate, but not so much as to make it taste healthy. It just tastes like rich, dark mint chocolate!

If you find it hard to get in enough healthy vitamins and superfood nutrients in your daily diet, then I’d highly suggest you start adding this amazing protein powder to your diet. It does not contain one single garbage ingredient. That’s why I believe so much in this company.

Dark chocolate is my favorite…it has a deep, rich and gourmet flavor that is lightened up with the mint. They are downright delicious. I’m not a milk chocolate type of person (think candy bars)…I find them way too sweet. If you don’t like dark chocolate, you still might want to try these because the mint balances them out. Or you could maybe use a tiny bit less of cacao powder.

Sprout Living is very generous and offering their new flavor “Green Kingdom” to a lucky winner this time. I have been adding both it and the “Vanilla Lucuma” to my smoothies every single day. The Green Kingdom of course is loaded with tons of superfoods, so it has an earthy taste. It doesn’t have a floral flavor like the vanilla, but it is not detectable at all in smoothies or these chocolates, it blends in beautifully and you are getting a powerhouse of nutrients! I am hooked on both now.

A lot of people don’t eat enough fruits or veggies…you know who you are. This is a great way to get an amazing dose of superfoods into your diet. I feel fantastic everyday after drinking my smoothies.

Now, with this recipe, you can get amazing nutrients while eating chocolate?! Come on, you know you love me now. 🙂

Oh, I hear you Linda! Me neither…I have hated pretty much all of them….that’s why I praise Epic Protein so much, because they have made me believe again that an awesome protein powder DOES exist, lol! 🙂

Ice cream with almond milk! (I recently made ice cream with vanilla protein powder and crumbled homemade almond butter bars into it. It was very good, and now I’m on a mission. For chocolate, I’d add bananas and use cashew butter – that makes wonderful ice cream.) This recipe on your post looks amazing!!! That would be the next thing I want to make – for sure!!!

Seriously? You cannot post this delicious looking recipe with promises of all these amazing health benefits and not somehow deliver one of those chocolates into each of your reader’s faces! These look SO GOOD. The first thing I’d make with this protein powder…a green smoothie, probably. But once I get my hands on some cocoa butter, you won’t be able to stop me from making these!!
